Meet our President and CEO- Mary Sickler.

Mary Sickler is dedicated to the prevention of sexual assault and the empowerment of survivors through advocacy, education, and community engagement. A pre-law student at Rice University, Mary brings a strong academic foundation and a deep personal commitment to the advancement of justice and safety.

Recognizing a critical unmet need within the community, Mary founded Guardian Alliance Foundation with the vision of creating a safer and more informed society. In addition to her leadership role, Mary is a certified self-defense instructor and an active spokesperson for the Houston Area Women’s Center, where she has been a vocal advocate for survivor support and public education. Her multifaceted approach to activism reflects a steadfast dedication to systemic change and survivor empowerment.
